Can I also just add that I have a very strong feeling that part of the reason they changed John’s gender is so he (she) can be Sherlock’s romantic interest, which I don’t like. I mean, of course I ship Sherlock/John, anyone who so much as glances as my tumblr could deduce that, but I don’t like the implication that they can’t be romantically involved if they’re not opposite genders.
